Buckhorn Armor Stone
Buckhorn armor stone has a density of 175 lbs per cubic feet.  It is a beautiful elephant grey rock, that has often has a nice weather face look.  It chips and cuts well.   It is easy to work with.  The rock in this quarry is deposited between seaweed layers, and is remove easily by excavators without damage.  No blast marks, and often perfect stackable rock.

Flamboro Armor Stone
Flamboro armor stone is also a very dense rock.  It has a beautiful dark chocolate brown colour with horizontal sediment lines that gives it great character.  It is also easy to work with and has no blast holes.  It can also be stacked well.

Mossy Boulders
Mossy boulders are from bush areas.  It is often used as a natural boulder in landscapes.  We also use it to create bubbling rocks, since is drills very well.  Moss must be kept shaded and damp.  To promote moss growth, yogurt can be applied to bring back the moss to rocks.

Chicken Scratch
Chicken scratch is a byproduct of the Buckhorne quarry.  It is the calcium deposit on the top of the quarry.  When removed, it makes a nice one man rock for bordering beds or for decoration in beds or around bubbling rocks.

Natural Steps
Orillia Natural Cut Steps are flamed, guillotined, and cut to size.  They have a large tread with a rise of 8”.  We stock 4', 5', and 6' steps.  These steps allow for precision measurements, and are easily installed when stacked.

Techo-Bloc Steps
Rocka Techo-bloc Steps are man-made steps that are very natural looking.  They only come in a 4 foot length, 6 inches high.  However, they can be cut and butt together to create larger dimensions. They are have precision measurements, and are easily installed when stacked.  They come in three colours; grey, chocolate brown and sahara.

Mara Jumbo Slab
The Mara Jumbo Slab and 6” Jumbo Steps are often use by high end contractors.  They will use this natural product around pools, back patios, etc. and incorporate it with interlock to give projects more of a natural look, instead of the hard landscape look of just interlock.  The steps are used to give a perfect 6” rise with a natural look on slopes, and around pools.  This slab is also very easy to work with when creating natural waterfalls into pools or ponds.
